Your shooter always has an assistant to deal with all those tricky lighting situations: early harsh sunlight, indoor lighting, etc.  It's a focused, simple crew size to make sure the moments that matter most are captured beautifully.

Before your Day:

Early CONSULTATION

In this art you are the art, so we start with a face to face hello and get to know. We get a feel for who you are and what makes your relationship yours. If we're taking engagements or formals we hone in on location preferences. For a wedding we talk early plans and consult on customizations.

Final Review

Once we're closer to the wedding day we reach out again for a final coordination. We fine tooth comb the complete timeline of the day, build a full group shot list, and check for any changes or details.

During your Day:

Dedicated photographer

We keep our team small so we can stay big on commitment to you.  We make sure every artist here is experienced, creative, and in this for the right reason – the love of your love. Seeing two souls commit, that thrills us to the soul... that inspires creativity celebrating you.

Dual CAMERAS

From bouquet toss to that sparkle the in the eye, real capture requires the artist to be ready for moments as they come. Our photography uses dual cameras start to finish, with a wide angle lens on one and a telephoto on the other. That means more real moments captured.

Soft continuous lighting

No paparazzi flash bursts interrupting your event, we bring soft continuous lights that color match any venue. The best part?  Photos that look more natural, even in the hardest lighting situations.

Fail-Safe

The studio rule is to have a fail-safe for every piece of equipment we bring to your day, down to the memory cards. Every photo is recorded to dual cards so that even if one card corrupts, no memories are lost.

After your Day:

photography feedback cycles

We start by reviewing your day, cull out the repeats zombies and oopses, and take a step back for objectivity. Then every image gets reviewed by another artist, here in-house. With us it's never a solo artist trying to hold the quality bar all on their own. Having a team is our secret to consistent quality wedding photography.

Deliverables: EDITS

Every wedding receives hundreds of images, all worked individually by our full time retoucher. We take care of fly-away hairs, color, exposure, and more. We want you focused on memories not blemishes.

DEliverables: SELECTS

These are gallery grade prints made here to match our edit monitors. If it's going on your wall we want it looking just right. Select up to ten favorites for enlargement done "at cost", additional editing included.

Digital Delivery + LIFETIME BACKUP

A full year of everything available for easy download.  Then lifetime archival backup. Do this long enough and you'll see just how often it happens: the couples call in a panic... Yes, we still have your stuff.

True CINEMA CAMERAS

Always a full professional gimbal that keeps up moving with you, with full focus on you.  Go up with the bouquet toss, go down with the dance. No bobble-stick tilt wobble, no moments missed. This isn't about tech, this is about beautiful moments captured beautifully.

Color matched lighting

Architects righty design venue lighting to be as even as possible, but on camera that's flat dark lifeless. Our lights can perfectly color match the venue, but give us shape control. We want your first dance to look the way it felt – be it romantic candle warm, or rainbow dance party.

Fail-Safe

Life happens and we don't want to miss your life happening. We bring a backup for every piece of equipment and have backup personal ready at the studio. From dual record to check-sum on import we strive for double safe.

After your Day:

Videography FEEDBACK cycles

Human means we all go up and down, but that's not good enough for your one special day.  We feedback everything in-house face to face, never a solo artist deciding good enough. Having a team is our secret to consistent quality wedding films. We consider pacing, music, color, and more – but never just one artist's opinion.

HIGHLIGHTS

The whirlwind of memories in clean, clear, cinematic beauty. The goal is for a grandchild to someday feel like they were there with you reliving some of the greatest memories of your lifetime.

FULL FOOTAGE

Better than raw footage, these are full edits per portion of your day. Imagine dad with a big camera shouting "home movies!".  Except this is better... because we know what we're doing.  Love you dads.

Digital Delivery + LIFETIME BACKUP

BUNDLEd for the better

If we're the right stylistic fit, then the biggest advantage of bundling photo and video through us is it reliably improves quality on both sides of the art.  Ten years from now you won't remember that it did also save you several hundred dollars. But it does. And for now, that's nice.

Combined CONSULTATION

After signing we do a combined consultation here in-house to keep everyone on the same page start to finish. That's easier for you and us, with nobody worrying about how the videographer might want to approach things as compared to your photographer. You could say we're all basically holding hands. Consider this a unique and very pleasurable double date.

Combined Customizations

When combined, your customizations budget goes further. Our assistant is trained to help both the photographer and videographer. Options like High Volt Batteries send our lights out moving full mobile benefiting both photo and video.

During your Day:

CAPTURE HAND IN HAND

Imagine what happens if one artist is pulling a shoot towards heavy posing, while the other tries to get you to relax and be yourself. An artist's shooting philosophy is the most important part of approach, and it can be a mess when artists are pulling you opposite directions. Whereas with us both pulling on the same side of the rope it's even easier to help bring out the best in you. We hope you leave those shoots feeling as invigorated, uplifted, and inspired as we do.

Collaborative Capture

We capture your day with collaboration in mind. The group shots list is literally in the videographer's hand helping the photographer. From candid to key moments like the ceremony or exit our photographer knows exactly what our videographer needs and vice versa.

Collaborative lighting

We bring compact soft continuous lights good for both artists. No cold white flash wrecking the video (seriously look at example, it's awful). And for the photographer, no videographer with a cheap green spike LED wasting editing time on color correction headaches.

Added Fail-Safe

The most reliable capture is to have us do both parts of the art.  As a studio we've purchased equipment in a way that even our photography and videography cameras have some compatibility.  In a disastrous situation like a lens being dropped, we can borrow between each other. Call it paranoia, but on the day we finally see it happen... the bride will be grateful.

Joint feedback cycles

This is feedback at its best: Our photographer helps feedback our videographer because they know if the day was faster or slower paced. Our videographer knows if the photo edits need a little more saturation to properly reflect your wedding colors.
